Das Brüder-Duo Jeff The Brotherhood aus Nashville gibt es seit 2001 und ihre Musik bezeichnen sie als eine Mischung aus 70s Hardrock, 80s Punk, 90s Grunge und Pop Melodien.
Ihr neues Album „Wasted On The Dream“ habe sie zusammen mit Joe Chiccarelli, der auch schon mit The Strokes, Poco, My Morning Jacket und Beck zusammen gearbeitet hat produziert.
Mittlerweile sind sie von einer 3-seitigen Gitarre und einem minimalistischen Drumkit zu einem kompletten Rock Outfit gewachsen. Jake´s Gitarre hat jetzt volle 6 Seiten und die Drums bestehen nun auch aus mehr als aus Kick und Snare. Für den Bass auf dem Album konnte man kein geringeren als Jack Lawrence (Raconteurs, Dead Weather, City und Colour) gewinnen. Außerdem gibt es gesanglichen Support bei einem Song von Bethany Cosentino von Best Coast und dem nicht genug, steuert Mr. Ian Anderson von Jethro Tull persönlich ein Flöten Solo für den Song „Black Cherry Pie“ bei.
